Happy Goats Platform Terms of Use
1. Preamble
This agreement between you or your business (“You”) and HAPPY GOATS Livestock Advisory Services Private Company (“Happy Goats” or “We”) governs the use of services offered by the Happy Goats Online Platform as well as the consulting and educational services that accompany it (hereinafter “Happy Goats Services”).
2. Happy Goats Services
We provide decision support and professional consulting services to breeders, veterinarians, consultants and cooperatives to optimize the profitability of sheep and goat farms.
The Happy Goats web application located at https://happygoats.eu provides digital decision support by simulating future management scenarios and their effects on farm profitability.
Stand-alone access to the online application can be supported in parallel by paid professional advice and support, which includes technical support, training in the use of the services, evaluation of farms and writing of relevant reports as well as online & on-site education and training.
You may use the Happy Goats Services solely for personal and professional use or for the purposes of the business you represent.
You can connect to the Happy Goats Services using any Internet browser. Access to the Internet and, in general, access to the necessary equipment required in order to use the Happy Goats Services is your responsibility.
3. Modification of Terms of Use
We may modify these Terms, upon notice, at any time. As long as you are a subscriber to the Services, you will be notified of any such modification by email. The most recent Terms are always published on our website at https://happygoats.eu/terms/. You may stop using the Happy Goats Services if the terms are changed in a way that materially affects your rights in connection with your use of the Services. Your continued use of the Happy Goats Services following any change to the Terms will be deemed your agreement to the modified terms.
4. Obligations of Registered User / Subscriber
To access or use the Happy Goats Services, you must register at https://happygoats.eu/register by creating a user account.
If you represent a company or organization and wish to use the Happy Goats Services, we recommend that you enter your company physical address as well as your email address in your account information. If you will use the Happy Goats Services for one or more farms, you must enter their true and complete information when creating each farm subscription.
By accepting these terms, you agree to: a) provide true, accurate, up-to-date and complete information about yourself as you are prompted to do on the account creation form and breeding creation form and b) maintain and timely update such information so that it is always true, accurate, up-to-date and complete. In the event that you either provide any information that is not true, accurate, current or complete, or Happy Goats has reason to suspect that such information is not accurate, true, current or complete, Happy Goats reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account without further notice and deny you access to use the Happy Goats Services.
Happy Goats reserves the right to disable unverified user accounts (for example, accounts for which the email address verification process has not been completed) after a reasonable period of time (eg after 7 days). In the event of such deactivation, the account holder may contact Happy Goats within the next 30 days requesting reactivation. Otherwise Happy Goats may delete the account and all data related to it. Happy Goats reserves the right to deny a reactivation request, particularly in the case of consecutive account verification failures on the part of the account creator.
5. User Data and Privacy Policy
We recommend that you carefully read the Happy Goats Privacy Policy, the latest version of which is always available at https://happygoats.eu/privacy-policy-en/, for information on how Happy Goats collects, uses and shares personal information of its registered users / subscribers. By accepting these Terms, you expressly consent to the use, collection and disclosure of your personal data in accordance with the Happy Goats Privacy Policy.
6. Accounts, Subscriptions and Charges
A user account can manage one or more farm subscriptions. The Happy Goats Services are provided through specific subscription packages (plans), which pertain to one (1) farm at a time and are available on annual billing cycles. One billing year corresponds to 365 days of service and does not change based on the calendar year. A necessary condition for activating a Happy Goats subscription package is the discount of its total value.
The basic form of subscription (Standard), which is intended for autonomous access to the Online Application, without additional support or consulting, optionally allows the testing of the Services (trial) for a few days, with automatic upgrade, at the same time as the end of the trial period, in full annual subscription which will be accompanied by the relevant fee. To this end, the system asks registered users to provide their billing information in the platform’s secure payment environment, even if they want to create a trial account.
Happy Goats will attempt to automatically renew your subscription after the end of the pre-purchased term by creating the associated charges to your account or credit card without any additional action on your part. However, you have the option to cancel the automatic renewal of your subscription at any time, for one or more farms, meaning the end of the corresponding recurring charges. In such event, the Happy Goats Services will continue to be provided until the end of each farm’s subscription period and will then be terminated.
Happy Goats reserves the right to a) change the price of subscription or renewal of packages, without, however, creating retroactive charges for existing subscribers and b) set a charge for the use of any Services that were previously available free of charge. If a farm’s subscription expires, access to its data will not be possible until that subscription is renewed. However the user account may continue to access any other farms with an active subscription. If all breeding subscriptions associated with a user account have expired or been cancelled, the user may reactivate them for the corresponding annual fee.
You can choose to upgrade your subscription plan at any time. When you upgrade your subscription plan for a farm, Happy Goats will take into account any previous charges for which the purchased time has not been used, and will credit your account with the corresponding amounts, charging you only the difference.
Subscription packages are not downgradable.
Happy Goats will in no event provide a refund for all or part of the payment you have made in advance for Happy Goats Services.
7. Discount policy
We offer discounts, tiered, on the simultaneous purchase of more than one subscription, when registering new users.

8. Usage Restrictions
Subject to the Terms and Conditions of this Agreement, in no event shall you:
- transfer or make available to any third party natural or legal person the Happy Goats Services;
- use Happy Goats for farms (farms) other than those for which you have pre-purchased the necessary licenses, the updated details of which you always keep on the Happy Goats platform, as you expressly agree with article 4 of these Terms,
- use the Services for spamming or other illegal purposes;
Happy Goats reserves the right to immediately terminate your access to the Happy Goats Services and/or claim damages if there are reasonable grounds to believe that you have used the Services for farms other than those for which you have pre-purchased annual subscriptions or for any illegal or unauthorized activity.
9. Disclaimer
By accepting these Terms, you agree that your use of the Happy Goats Services is at your sole risk. Happy Goats expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Happy Goats makes no warranty that the Services will be continuous, timely, secure or virus-free. The use of any material uploaded or received through the use of the Happy Goats Services is at your own risk and you will be solely responsible for any damage to your computer system, mobile phone, wireless device etc or data resulting from the use of the Services Happy Goats or downloading any such material.
10. Limitation of Liability
By accepting these Terms, you agree that Happy Goats shall in no event be liable for any incidental, consequential, indirect, special or other loss or damage or loss of profits, business interruption, business plan failure, loss of business information, or other damages arising out of or caused by the use or inability to use any of the Happy Goats Services, even if you have received business decision support from Happy Goats advising you of the possibility of such damages.
Your sole and exclusive remedy for any dispute with the Happy Goats Services shall be non-renewal of subscriptions to use such Services. In no event shall Happy Goats’ total liability to you or the organization you represent, in respect of any service, direct or indirect, exceed the costs paid by you to Happy Goats.
11. Suspension / Termination
We may suspend your user account or temporarily disable access to all or a subset of your Service, in the event that
- the Services are used for farms (farms) other than those for which subscriptions have been activated, in accordance with articles 4 and 8 of these Terms,
- there are reasonable suspicions of illegal activity,
- you have not logged into your account for an extended period (inactivity) of more than one year;
- receive a request from law enforcement or other government agencies, or;
- you request a termination of your account in person.
In general, we reserve the right to terminate your user account and prohibit services upon reasonable belief that you have violated these Terms. Termination of your user account may include denying you access to all Happy Goats Services, deleting your user account data, such as your e-mail address and password, and deleting all breeding data contained in your user account.
